The station, KL85 runs entirely on volunteers and celebrates its 4th anniversary on April 10. Similarly, ROCKABILLY SUMMER is part of the non-profit organization, directed by Maike Rapoye. Radio KL85 can be found through your PC browser and can be received digitally, through an APP, easily installed on the smartphone or tablet.

Our station is "The home of offshore radio memories". Our programs breathe the atmosphere of the golden radio days of radio Veronica, radio Mi Amigo, radio Atlantis, Radio Noordzee International (RNI), radio Delmare, radio Paradijs (radio Paradise), etc. etc. And the uniqueness of our station is, that we have hundreds of hours of unique offshore radio (Bert Ree) and, by popular demand, we can still broadcast many programs from those days every week.
Making radio takes time and money....
That time and money is currently filled by more than 30 volunteers, including well-known radio DJs. And we also thank our sponsors who have made and continue to make contributions to that end. Thus, we are diligently looking for more "volunteers" to help make/present or record LIVE programs. People who like to follow radio closely, maybe also can make a technical contribution.
Studio and locations
KL85 does not (yet) have a central studio (those costs are just too big). Our programs are created from different locations, in Belgium, Holland and England and maybe soon also (directly) from your location!
