Mi Amigo 50 live from the Castor in Terneuzen on 28, 29 and 30 June 2024
Fifty years ago, radio Mi Amigo started its broadcasts. On August 31, 1974, the listeners had to say goodbye to radio Veronica, radio north sea and radio Atlantis.
The sea stations will be back during the Havendagen in Terneuzen with Mi Amigo 50 on June 28 29 and 30, 2024 to commemorate those 50 years. Mi Amigo 50 is a part of organization Mi Amigo 40; in 2014 broadcasts were made from Ostend at 40 years Mi Amigo and in 2019 from Blankenberge at 45 years Mi Amigo.
The legendary offshore station DJs bring back the sound of radio Mi Amigo and commemorate their former colleagues from radio Veronica, radio Noordzee and radio Atlantis during those three days on FM in the Terneuzen region. In addition, these broadcasts are relayed by various stations in the Netherlands on medium wave and shortwave. The online radio station KL85.net provides worldwide support in collaboration with Ment-TV and the cooperation of Broadcast Partners. As in 2019, the broadcasts of Mi Amigo 50 will again take place from the Castor.

Rob Ronder live on board in April 1975
During the sea station night on KL85.net of April 14, 2024 from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., you can listen again to programs from 49 years ago. Rob Ronder does his last shift live on board with the Flying 50 and Gangwal. In addition, it is time for Bert Bennett from Playa de Aro with Mi Amigo on KL85.net, the radio station for radio enthusiasts.
At midnight there is also time to look back on Veronica 1224, the revival 25 years after the end of the offshore channel with, among others, Ad Bouman in conversation with Anouska and Gerard de Vries.

During the sea station time in the evening in the week of April 15, 2024 from Monday to Wednesday at 7 p.m. on KL85.net, you can listen to Mi Amigo again. Beacon 16 brings a news broadcast of BRT4. In addition, it's time for Ferry Eden with Coffee with ship's biscuits and Denis Desrouvres with the French-language broadcast. These programs can also be listened to again on KL85.net from Tuesday to Thursday morning between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.
Veronica in April 1976 back at 259
During the sea station night on KL85.net of April 21, 2024 from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., you can listen again to programs on April 1, 1976. The sound of radio Veronica could be heard again on 259. As an April Fool's joke, Mi Amigo was Veronica for a day. Programs of that day with Bart van Leeuwen, Peter van Dam, Joop Verhoof, Stan Haag, Michelle can now be listened to again at KL85.net, the radio station for radio enthusiasts. From 0 a.m. to 1 a.m. there will also be time on KL85.net for the reunion of the Veronica employees 25 years after the end of the offshore channel. In 1999 we hear a live program with Ad Bouman, among others.
